Jesus Escudero brings us this exhibition on his latest works, which contrast with his previous art. They are given the evocative title of "Metafísica" (metaphisics).
We are contemplating soft and sober oil paintings who always lack any human figures. The mixture of classical and modern elements evoke a sense of poetry and mystery that makes us think his works through.

We live in a hurry. We waste time constantly. We are being pulled by the ominous whirlpool that is our infinite to-do lists. We devote ourselves to action, but in return we become empty.
Perhaps this is a time to meditate, to look carefully and remain silent. To find the usefulness inside the useless, the fruitfulness of the slow, calm activities and the depth of the written page.
