Painting fills my life; it fills my time, which I spend looking for something. Knowing myself, the world and the relationship that exists between us. The only means of evolution is knowledge, which is the reason why I travel through the world to explorenew styles and techniques to transmit with colour my personal vision of the world.

Beyond forms and colours, there is a dialogue between the spectator and what they have lived to interpret the work of the artist, that is, at the same time, the interpretation of the artist's personal experiences and independent learning. The simplicity, the colourfulness and the expressive force of the ordinary things is what makes the works of Rufino Hernández de Gracia so interesting. 

P. Bezanes (painting and drawing)

Self-taught painter and draftsman, he was born in Oviedo in 1969. He's been living and working for twenty-five years in a council of the Asturian mountains. Although he had already taken part in various collective exhibitions, his first individual exhibition took place in a village of the mountain range.

Self-taught sculptor, fundamentally in wood.

His beginnnings as sculptor put him on the path of realist figurative art, copying directly from nature, animals and the human body. He later dedicated himself to study the craftwork of the rural areas of Asturias and the north of Castile, its sacred art, prehistoric art and the art of naturalist sculptures of tribal cultures from different parts of the world.  

José Luis Cerra Wollstein

Graduate in Fine Arts by the University of the Basque Country, with a specialisation in paintings. Doctor in Art History by the University of Oviedo; his doctoral thesis being The representation of the sea in the Cantabrian Coast 1940 - 2005. He specialised in paintings and engravings; and he studied and worked in Spain, England, Finland and Florence.

Wander around with a camera in your hand looking for a beautiful face, a smile, a curiosity of an era of students in times of long hair, bell-bottom trousers and curiosities, and my dear pier of Orient. Memories of more than 40 years that I hope you enjoy as much as I did back in those times that will never return.

For more than a thousand years, people from all levels of society, including emperors and aristocrats, have made the arduous pilgrimage to Kumano. These Pilgrims used a network of routes, nowadays known as Kumano Kodo, which spread along the mountainous Kii peninsula. The walk itself was an integral part of the pilgrimage process since it included strict religious rites of worship and purification... 

Diego Carrera 

 I have known Diego since he gave his first brush-strokes. Even then, still a child, he showed the skills and an interest in painting which made possible for art to soon occupy a serious and decisive role in his interests and his training.
