The links between the Alvargonzález family and the Spanish Navy stretches out from the final years of the 18th century until today. For more than two centuries, through six consecutive generations, thirty-one Alvargonzález have nourished the ranks of the Spanish Navy: twenty-five in the Judiciary Body, three in the Marine Infantry, two in the Judiciary Body and one in the Archive Body.
