Royal Institute and Observatory of the Spanish Navy grant

This grant is dedicated to the scientific-cultural research in the Royal Institute and Observatory of the Spanish Navy in San Fernando.

This grant is given for first time in December of 1994. It aims to promote scientific and historical projects related to Royal Institute and Observatory of the Spanish Navy (Astronomy, Geodesy, Geophysics, Metrology and History of the Science). Any Spanish citizen proving experience, works or academic certificates can apply for the grant. There is no age limit. The amount of the grant is 4,000 € and it is disposed in two payments. The labor has to be done in a period of 6 months. The announcement is published in the BOE (Official State Bulletin) every year.
