In 1913, during the course of the expansion work at Musel port, a fatal accident took place causing death to 22 people.
Some improperly calculated blasting effects in the area known as “El Tangón”, fatally affecting to workers and neighbors from Gijón that had approached to the area to see the explosion.
With this exhibition, the Alvargonzález Foundation, wants to remember and pay tribute to the deceased and wounded in that tragic accident.
