I was born in the 'braña vaqueira' of Silvamayor, in the Asturian county of Valdés. At the age of four, my parents sent me to Madrid, where I studied and worked in the Spanish National Health System until a little after my retirement, when I returned to Asturias to stay.
I studied watercolour painting in Rivas Vaciamadrid's UPE, in AEDA and in 'Estudio Solana' (all institutions are from the Community of Madrid). I started painting with acrylics and mixed techniques at 'Estudio Solana' in Madrid and, as of now, I attend Nacho Suárez's Art Workshop in Avilés...
I have done both collective and individual exhibitions with watercolour paintings in the Community of Madrid, its capital city, Cuenca, Salamanca and Avila. Lately I have exhibited acrylic paintings in the Valey Cultural Centre, Piedras Blancas; watercolour paintings in Gijón's El Coto Centre and drawings in Oviedo's Trascorrales exhibition hall.
I have called this exhibition, set up in the Alvargonzález Foundation, 'Hats and Headdresses of the Great Masters of Painting' and it started
