In this essay on political philosophy, a panorama of the political situations towards which we are headed through particular courses of action is devised. These situations, the 'Horizons', contrast with the 'Borders' which are limits of the possible imposed by Nature, limits inherent to the reality of human condition and that, trascending this and them, are imposed by certain principles of pure reason, as that of contradiction.
